Entry #2: Truth

If you don’t want to know the truth (subconsciously), I can guarantee you that you won’t be able to perceive it without ever knowing it (at least consciously; you may have ‘something is off’ feeling inside of you on the topic in question).

Some of you may have some interesting thoughts and feelings right about now, so allow me to break it down further. You live in a vibrational universe that mirrors back to you what you are. What you are on a moment by moment basis is your thoughts, emotions, the stories you tell yourself—about yourself, others and the world; what is possible for you and under what conditions. All these constructs form your energetic makeup and, in most cases, pre-determine the actions you will or won’t take.

Example: If you don’t believe a certain outcome is possible for you or the perceived T&C’s aren’t stacked in your favour (or so you believe), and you’re the majority of the people on the planet, you won’t even try. But you’re not the majority of the people on the planet—you’re here, so welcome!

So let’s talk about muscle testing as a tool you can use to access a deeper level of awareness, clarity and the ultimate truth beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Step 1: The power of asking insightful questions

Not all questions are made equal. Some are limiting while others are expansive. Some will lead you astray while others will show you nuances (think of them as layers of truth) based on your intention, clarity of thought and what matters most to you.

For example, ‘Is this person the one for me’ is a limiting question and one that has a lot of emotion entangled in it. Example: If you’re falling in love with the person you’re dating or are in a relationship with, it is likely you’ll want them to be ‘the one’, therefore not yet ready to know the truth if they’re not the one for you. A more insightful question would be ‘Is this person in alignment with my value of <fill in the gap>’. Or ‘Is this person emotionally available?’ And the list goes on and on.

Next, use your questions to form statements such as ‘<Name and surname> is emotionally available.’

Step 2: Neutrality

Your ability to be neutral about the object of your asking is everything. Emotions add a certain charge to the entire process. You can catch it by noticing your attachment to the desired answer which of course interferes with knowing the truth.

Consider trying on a new point of view: Knowing the truth helps me to navigate complexities of life with more joy and ease, always steering me in the most profitable direction for me. (Profitable as defined by one of my mentors=profitable physically, mentally, emotionally, monetarily and spiritually.)

Step 3:Breathe with intention

Deep slow breaths in and out will anchor you in the present moment. Set the intention to release any and all stuck emotions (known or unknown to you) and for the truth to be revealed now.

Step 4: The hand pose

Form a horizontal number 8 by interlocking two O’s—each created with the index finger and thumb of one hand. Next, practice with an obvious statement to gain confidence (and enjoy the simplicity of the technique). Upon speaking the statement out loud whilst trying to break the interlocked fingers by pulling them away from each other, you will notice that an untrue statement is the only thing that will break them apart. How cool is that!?

Examples:

To experience how your body shows you the truth when the statement is true, go with ‘My name is <fill in your name>’.

To have the opposite experience, you could change your name, your gender, your place of birth etc.

Step 5: Let the muscle testing begin!
